    • should be sone through teaching appropriately
    • learning style can be different, as long as they get it

    • supported employment
    • independent living
  • schools - teach functional programs - prepare for life
  • life span approach - all life stages are considered
  • Families - core support
    • money
    • public health and education
    • home/community safety
    • chores
    • play groups
    • marital relations
    • support
    • culture
    • information for parents
    • community inclusion and participation
  • consistency is another key
  • break down barriers
